Declaration of goods within the EU
As of the 1st of January 2022, significant changes have come into force regarding intra-EU exchange of goods, with the EU’s 2022 Finance Bill. This will bring France into closer alignment with EU regulations: ‘EBS (European Business Statistics)’ Regulation of 2019.
Two new separate declarations have replaced the former DEB (this was a statistical survey for the purposes of customs). These two separate declarations had already existed in most EU member states; bar France and Italy. Previously in France, the DEB had come under Article 289 B of the French Tax Code.
With these new rules and regulations in mind, if you think that you might need extra support with your tax declarations, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
